I am trying to figure out some creative things to do with vbBux.

Is it possible to create an option to purchase a forum section? Like a full section(General) or individual areas of a sections(PHP).

The owner would earn points from each thread and post created within the forum section minus a contribution to the full section owner.

Other members could also buy out a member's ownership of a forum section or area by paying the current cost of the area based on current posts & thread. The previous owner would get the purchased price minus site taxes, so that it wouldnt be so easy to rebuy it and cause buyout feuds.

If you own a full section then you earn a percentage of the earnings each section makes.

It would add an interesting aspect of monopoly into forums. I think it would also encourage a lot more activity within the site. It would also be important to have other items to buy with the money to encourage member's to earn more. The income generated by sections could then be used to entice other members to stay active in their areas by starting contests or payments for posting.

Other aspects can be thought up as we move forward.

1. Is this possible?
2. How hard would it be to do?
3. Would it place a burden on the load that the site uses?
4. How can I learn how to make this? read up on creating new options, ect

heh anyone? would it take a lot of work? can anyone show me an addon that where i can see the code to see how i can do this?

1) It sounds possible.
2) Doesnt sound too terribly difficult, just need some debug sessions I'm sure to get it working properly.
3) This is the big question, not really sure.
4) This is also a tough question, the easiest way is to just look in the /vbplaza folder and start looking at how the actions themself work.

would i be able to do it without having to create a table for it or would i need to store this information?
