Amember/Nuke/Phpbb to VB
Hi!
I'm not exactly sure how this would work, but I currently have Amember managing subscriptions, user names... and members can log in once to access the forums in phbb and content in nuke. I have many problems with hackers and also with getting the three programs to speak to eachother. I would like to switch to vbulletin for many reasons, but I'm wondering if the active member list and sub. managemant wil trasfer easily and accurately? If so, what would this ential and do you recommend keeping nuke for my CMS? Thanks! Kendra |

Not sure what it would entail. I can however tell you that aMember + vBulletin is a good combination, and super easy to use and setup.
You may wish to contact Alex at aMember to see if there is a import script that you can run when making that sort of switch |

Wondering why I would need amemebr with vbulletin. Doesn't vbulletin have member managent? Thanks again! Kendra |

Yes it does. But only includes limited payment processors ( Moneybookers, Paypal, NoChex, WorldPAy, 2Checkout i think without looking )
If you only use paypal or on of the other ones listed then there would be no need for aMember any longer. |
