i have a non-free hack that enable sponsoring of forums, so you can add a andvertiser for each and specific forums, buttons in forumlist, banners on top or bottom of forumdisplay and viewthread, hit counters, possibility of textads (like adsgoogle), ad codes from phpadsnew etc... I had someone design one for me, allows for forum sponsors, and a different ad at the top of each forum display. I use this in addition to phpadsnew and fastclick/google adsense.
