attachment .file files back to original format
Hi.
I have used this attachment exporter in the past for a forum that I admin... https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=34338 today, I wish to get back the separate static image and doc files of the attachments...... can anyone help? is there any way to get back those .file files to their original format?? |

What do you mean, to their original format? They haven't changed formats, only from database to physical files, right?

yes Gary...... is there a way I could get the files back to the database ?
there is another hack to export those files from the database to normal separate files... like .JPG and .TXT files. |

have you tried undoing the stuff you done?
by that i mean following the steps backwards |

well, sabret00the, if I undo the modifications, of course, NEW attachments would be in the database.......
but I need ALL the attachments... |

you mean renaming the files from
d88462e0c93077989080031a852ffe19.file etc to d88462e0c93077989080031a852ffe19.jpg d8fd3820db44514292b2e4ed2ba270bc.gif yeah? That would be really usefull, I could do with something like that! |
