I wrote this hack for a friends Board.

This Hack allows you to set a postlevel a "registered" user must have for a particular forum to post new threads oder relpys. If this user hasn't reached the postlevel the post oder thread will get invisible and moderated.

The level is dynamicly setable in the admin CP in the forumsmanagement.

I hope this hack doesn't exist yet.

Greetings

KarateKid

It sounds a nice hack... Actually something similar exists here by Lesane...
But it seems slightly different, as your version says to put a post under moderation, not to inhibit that post at all...

I'll try.
Thanks.

Ok, I have a board with over 400 forums, if i want to set it to 20 posts for ALL forums, is there an SQL query that I can execute to set it rather than changeing each individual forum by hand ?

@dawl:
at the moment there isn't the possibility for setting the limit to all forums.

Perhaps I can implement this feature

@JWB: No, it isn't the same. It's different! My hack is more dymanicly because you can set the limit to each forum, dynamicly

Actually you're talking about another hack (by Lesane).
Give a look HERE.
I could suggest you to install that hack only in newthread.php and newreply.php scripts, if would only avoid posting and not also reading.

Bye
