Posts moderated if user has not reached a particular postrange
I wrote this hack for a friends Board.
This Hack allows you to set a postlevel a "registered" user must have for a particular forum to post new threads oder relpys. If this user hasn't reached the postlevel the post oder thread will get invisible and moderated. The level is dynamicly setable in the admin CP in the forumsmanagement. I hope this hack doesn't exist yet. :) Greetings KarateKid |

But it seems slightly different, as your version says to put a post under moderation, not to inhibit that post at all... I'll try. Thanks. :laugh: |
yes, it's different ;)

I made a little update which fixes a Bug with the 0-Posters :)

Ok, I have a board with over 400 forums, if i want to set it to 20 posts for ALL forums, is there an SQL query that I can execute to set it rather than changeing each individual forum by hand ?

answered my own question once i just "thought" for a minute.

@dawl:
at the moment there isn't the possibility for setting the limit to all forums. Perhaps I can implement this feature :) @JWB: No, it isn't the same. It's different! My hack is more dymanicly because you can set the limit to each forum, dynamicly :) |
is there a way to make it soo it doesnt get moderated but instead if the try to post a new thread it says "you must have xx posts to post in this forum"
possible? please help if soo can you make it only if they try to post a new thread and not a reply? |

Give a look HERE. I could suggest you to install that hack only in newthread.php and newreply.php scripts, if would only avoid posting and not also reading. Bye |
