Moderators Functions - [DBTech] Threadmins and Group Moderators v2 (vB4)

Threadmins and Group Moderators is a moderation enhancement for single users (who can receive permissions to modify their own threads, or single threads and social group discussions) as well as allow for usergroups to be set as 'group moderators' and allow the users in such usergroups the same moderator permissions.

Uses
Threadmins and Group Moderators is a self moderation system that allows threads to be moderated by the user that created them. Users can be given permissions to edit, delete, sticky, open/close or be immune to such actions. Also it allows users to be assigned as moderators to a single thread or to a single Social Group discussion and allows usergroups to be assigned as moderators to forums.

What does 'Marking As Installed' do ?

* It helps you to stay on top of updates - members who have installed modifications will be notified by us whenever new updates are available.

* For security issues - vbulletin.org will contact all members who have installed a modification whenever a security issue is brought to their attention.

* Marking a modification as installed also helps us know how many people are using our work, giving us extra incentive to provide more features and new modifications.

Major Features
Thread Self Moderation (User Threads): Permissions to edit, delete, sticky, open/close or be immune to such actions per usergroup and per forum.

Individual Thread or Social Group Discussion Moderator: Users can be assigned individual threads or discussions which they can moderate.

I just installed this and think it will be very useful in a number of different threads. Part of my forum contains sports threads and sometimes someone will start a thread only for fans of a particular team. Of course, almost immediately other members come in and start to trash the team the thread was made to support. Now with this, I can give the thread starter control over his thread and take the headache away from the moderators.

If I could make one addition to this mod, it would be to grant the ability to ban a member from the thread in the Threadmin part of the mod.

You need to use the Threadmins part of the mod, and find the thread 123456 and list the user 111222 so it will load the permissions of that thread for that user. Does that help?

No, because I don;t even understand where to look....
so I'm in thread, i click on drop-down menu Administrative where the last item is " Remove Redirects" and nothing about Threadmins...

Enabling this for a usergroup will allow them to control Threadmins from the front end of the forum. - Yes

that's done but still no result.

p.s. by the way - I got there only 1 item - Is Manager !!! no any other!!

You should have access via the Admin Control Panel. You have access either as a Super Admin or if your user account has Admin permissions for Classifieds.

If you don't have those, then it sounds like the product file hasn't been installed correctly.

This week brings a Patch Level update for Threadmins and Group Moderators (v2.0.9 Patch Level 2). This resolves an issue some users were experiencing with errors in their server logs from a Scheduled Task. Thanks to everyone for keeping us up to date on issues and feature requests.

After installing the latest update my forum home page becomes blank and will no longer load. The XML also changes the name to "Pro" on the back end, if that is important at all.
