iTrader - A user feedback add-on for vBulletin 3.5.x
Copyright ?2004-2005 Jason Rabel, All Rights Reserved. __________________________________ Latest iTrader Verson: 2.0.1 vB Versions Supported: 3.5.x & 3.6.x Author: Jason Rabel Contact: PM me here. Site: EXTREME Overclocking ?????????????????????????????????? Description: iTrader for vB 3.5.x & 3.6.x has evolved from Trader Ratings for vB 3.0.x which evolved from Buy/Sell/Trade User Rating System for vB 2.x. This is a rating system for when members buy / sell / trade items from each other (presumably on a FS section of your forum). It is somewhat based on the honor system since there is no automatic way to truly tell if they did engage in a transaction. iTrader came about because it was a pain to try and maintain a single thread listing good / bad traders and so far has worked out quite well. Features:
Installation / Upgrade Info: Read the included readme file, it explains everything. Standard Disclaimer: BACKUP YOUR DATABASE & FILES BEFORE IMPLEMENTING THIS HACK!!! Donations: This add-on will always be free, however your donations are kindly accepted and will help towards further development. The link is on the right under "The Developer" info. Unfortunately, "it's not working" is about the only explanation I can give, as it doesn't even show up when I enable it properly. When I installed it on 3.5.4, it showed up in members' profiles as expected. It doesn't show up at all in 3.6. This is on two separate forums--one is a private "test" forum that I had at 3.5.4 and it worked great (we left each other some really colorful feedback!), and the other was our main forum: a bone-stock 3.6.0. There were no errors during installation. I know it won't show up in the postbit until I add the code (which I did in my 3.5.4 testing), but nothing is showing up in the user profile. All files are uploaded, and the install procedure has been done, as everything shows up where it should in the control panel. I've run the "itrader_in_profile" mod, and the option in the admin control panel Show itrader stats in profile? is set to "yes". The plugins are also all enabled. And in the usergroups, I have all three iTrader options set to "yes" just to see if I can get it working. Basically, everything is there, but the stats are just not showing up in a user's profile, despite everything being setup and enabled properly. |

Sorry, but I don't support any mods, you will have to take that up with the author.
iTrader doesn't show up on the member's profile page until you add some code to the templates (I thought I added info about that in the readme). I'll give it a whirl on a clean 3.6.0 install again, see if I can't break it somehow. |

If I go to the "addon" linked at the top of the thread, written by DopeGFX, it's a download of the same xml file, but with the readme file in it. Of course, that had the instructions to modify the member.php file and the MEMBERINFO template...and it's working fine now. Thanks much! We're going to test it out privately and put it on our main forum once we decide which settings we're going to use. We appreciate your work on it! |

I'm wondering if it's OK to nest conditionals in this manner:
<if condition="$vboptions[itrader_profile] == '1' "> <if condition="is_member_of($bbuserinfo,20,6,5,18,15)" > <if condition="$post['userid']"> <div>iTrader: (<b><a href="itrader.php?$session[sessionurl]u=$post[userid]">$post[itrader_total]</a></b>) $post[itrader_percent]</div> </if> </if> </if> The idea is to show iTrader links and stats only for members who are in the appropriate usergroups, along with the other limitations above. |

I have installed everything correctly but Im having trouble, when I try to post a trader rating on a user. The page loads up, but it says the following:
vBulletin Message Boricua-Racing, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons: Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system? If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation. How Can I fix this issue???? Thanks... |

What would be real nice is if iTrader could be shared between other boards.
