But I will try harder to support around vBT more, as Zach probably doesn't like doing the majority on his own. Thanks for reading. |

heh, everyone has other issues, sadly it's a fact of life that can't be changes, good luck on passing your second year of School though
![]() as i originally said though, in order for vBT to get a huge buzz and take on a life of it's own, it does need more staff, theirs alot of XHTML/CSS gurus around but they don't post on vBT ![]() |

![]() We are always trying to improve, currently we are looking to add some more things to the site itself that deal with the vBulletin style editor and templates. vBulletin 3 is a lot more forgiving on the template end but no one has really gone all out and shown what it can do yet, we want to teach people how to use the new style system and tricks they can employ into their code to avoid hacking amoung other things. ATM we are building the system this content will live on, and we hope to allow everyone to contribute to it (with moderation of course) |

but that is also exactly one of the reasons people have slacked off here.. immediate comments like that as well as the harsh comebacks of so-called mods, admins, support folks and ill willed hackers themselves.. all of us have bad days.. those in a support role can't afford bad days when those bad days are directly focused towards the customer themself.. |

I prefer to think of it as "telling it as it is" and staying directly on the point. Sorry if you see it other ways. |

You then rule out probably 75% or more people who have vbulletin software if those who can't code shouldn't modify said code with edits.. it is indeed my opinion.. and telling it like it is, is all well and fine, but sometimes it's better just to use tact, as was mentioned earlier..

As valid as Amy's point might be, it still was a little harsh. No one enjoys being talked down to and that seems to go on a lot around here. Those in the coding know seem to think they shouldn't have to answer any stupid questions or questions that any newbie ought to know, but they forget they asked the same kind of questions and didn't know squat about vb code when they first started either. I see that as more of the problem with what's going on around here than anything else.
