This product is the result of a request from hugoroger to:

Say I wanted to add a custom blurb as an admin on the bottom of a specific thread to show on all thread pages for that specific topic only. How hard would that be? As in, I would just want to give some attribution for material discussed in the topic. I could add it to the posts, but was wondering if I could edit the footer of the specific page in question.

Overview:
This product allows you to define blurbs (a block of information) on a per thread basis. BBCodes are allowed in the text, and support is added for my BBCodes that require extra processing, which include:
You can select whether you want the blurbs to appear above the threads/posts or below the threads/posts. The blurbs appear in a collapsible element.
Updates:
Version 1.1:
Added setting to define thread blurbs on a per forum basis.
Added support for multiple forumids/threadids per blurb.
Version 1.2:
Updated to allow for display of Forum Blurbs on Forum Display.
Version 1.3:
Updated to allow for excluding usergroups from seeing blurbs, on a blurb by blurb basis.
Stacked block titles separated by " - " string, and stacked blurb content separated by horizontal rule.
Version 1.4:
Added setting to allow choosing between HTML and BBCodes blurb content type.
Compatibility:
Tested and working on VB 4.2.x and may work on all 4.x versions of vBulletin.
Backup/Warning:
This product does not alter your database, however it is always good practice to make regular backups and you should make a backup before installing ANY new mod.
As always, products are USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. I will provide support and do my best to help but no absolute guarantee is offered.
Who is permitted to use this MOD? I assume Administrators only, but that's an assumption, and you know what they say when you assume?
I would like to set which usergroups are allowed to use it. Additionally, and I think this would be a beneficial addition, I would, if possible, like to be able to create blurbs from within a post/thread itself via Thread Tools or Administrative. This would allow 'on the fly' blurbs to be created without having to log into the AdminCP and pull up the MODs settings.
Just my thoughts. As always, your MODs bring added value to our Forum.

As the product is written, the blurbs are defined in the AdminCP, so only those with access to the product settings can create new blurbs.
For something more "on the fly" you might want to look at:
Thank you. I've taken a look at this MOD and have it tagged. It doesn't do what your Forum/Thread Blurbs does however, as the content (notes) exist within a specific post, unlike how blurbs work. Am I correct?
