This cracking little product, is a refinement of a previous mod of ours. Updated to work on all versions of vb4.0.0.x

If you use this MOD, please click Install

This Mod: adds an info icon below a members post.
It grabs the IP of the poster ( their post.ip )
By clicking it a new window opens up and displays the users Geo Location.

This is our MOST popular Modification for our admins, and allows them to track trace and locate users at ANY time.

To Install:

Upload the Image folder to your forum root. Allow merge.

Goto AdminCP>Plugins and Products>Add/Import Product

Navigate to: product-australiabound_iplookup.xml
Import

Done !

Nothing more to do.

ENJOY

When a moderator/admin staff clicks on the icon. A new window opens with google map, and the users ip location is displayed.

NO TEMPLATE EDITS !

Good work TimberFloor!

Am using this for vb3.8 https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=179362 and was going to miss it when I upgrade to vb4 in a few days.

Is there anyway of adapting it to search for other users using the same IP like the above mod?

It doesnt actually search for IP, all this does it grab the "post ip" therefore it is lightweight and unobtrusive, no plans to extend that functionality are planned

HelloTimberFloorAu i want to use this but i have hide ip of superadmins is there any way that you can have an option so that superadmins ip does not show becauase when i installed this this overrided the hide superadmin mod thanks

We have never hidden mod and admin IP's can you tell me where this is within admincp, I will check the code.

There is a plugin to hide the superadmin ip, thank you for this but would appreciate the ability to hide the superadmin also.
