I figured the V was supposed to be an M for Mega cool, but thanks to a typo - its left a myth.
Nothing more than a letter to make the name sound that little be "cooler", X is used frequently, but xBulletin just doesn't sound right, and other letters don't really fit well, but "v"Bulletin just has that ring to the sound, nothing too fancy, but at the same time sounds nice.
