Note that you need to back up the database. Backing up just the files doesn't preserve any of the forum data itself. Look in the Moving Servers section at http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/ .

Also, every time you encounter an error and post about it, always state exactly what the error is. Stating simply that one occured is usually not helpful. Thanks.
