Snipped from my project:
PHP Code:
<?php
/*
vbms_ab.php
This script allows users to view and modify their address book.
Unauthorized distribution of this file is a felony. LEGAL ACTION WILL BE TAKEN
AGAINST OFFENDERS, regardless of their nationality or age. This is not an idle
threat.
*/
define("THIS_SCRIPT", "vbms_ab");
define("NO_REGISTER_GLOBALS", true);
require("./global.php");
require("./includes/functions_vbms.php");
require("./includes/init_vbms.php");
eval("print_output(\"" . fetch_template("VBMS_AB") . "\");");
?>
Obviously you don't need the specific vBMS two required files, but the key is that eval line. Just make a template with what you want and then eval it as shown. Don't forget the NO_REGISTER_GLOBALS or you can screw yourself by opening up the page to hackers.
To preserve the header, just copy one of the generic templates (FORUMHOME, etc.), strip it of most everything in the body, and then add your own code.
