Its a good start, but I would have done it a bit differently.
From my experience reading webcomics, they usually start and then end with a joke or something, but still connect to one another. The reason I say that is because Strip 2 is just a connection strip, it didn't have much of a meaning except to connect 1 and 3. You could have added a fourth frame and had the camp ending up to be a hole or something, I don't know , but I think each strip should be a story in itself that has its own conclusion.
Hm... I'll try to do that, but they are more of a story than a Joke. You're totally right about #2, and I'll try to have either somethin funny OR suspenseful at the end of each strip
