hmm, wierd, i thought the next vb version would be 2.2.10 as this is installed at vbulletin-germany...

2.3 would normally mean a major upgrade because it's one dot in front

It changes the mail() function to vbmail() or something, so it's easily modified for those running alternate server specifications. So since they changed a function completely, and added a few templates and removed a few templates, they made it 2.3 although personally if they were going to release a 2.3.0 I think it should have some additional features .

Which is cool because this is what I've been saying it will be and everyone (I've talked to) kept telling me "No, Rose, it will be 2.2.10" So Umph!!

vb-germany uses 2.2.10

We used to use 2.2.10 which was actually 2.3.0. Now we use 2.3.0g.
