hmm, wierd, i thought the next vb version would be 2.2.10 as this is installed at vbulletin-germany...

2.3 would normally mean a major upgrade because it's one dot in front ;)

It changes the mail() function to vbmail() or something, so it's easily modified for those running alternate server specifications. So since they changed a function completely, and added a few templates and removed a few templates, they made it 2.3 although personally if they were going to release a 2.3.0 I think it should have some additional features ;).

Which is cool because this is what I've been saying it will be and everyone (I've talked to) kept telling me "No, Rose, it will be 2.2.10" So Umph!! :D

vb-germany uses 2.2.10 :)

We used to use 2.2.10 which was actually 2.3.0. Now we use 2.3.0g. :D
