Minimum Characters Per Thread Title

This hack helps to chosse the minimum nuber of characters when writing a new message. This hack needed why? Some members write messages with 2 characters which is not clear. So the user can write hello instead of hi for example. As the forum cultere is different from chat culture. If you have problems I will try to help you immediatelly.

install

Go to your admin cp, then:
Plugin System -> Manage Products -> [Add/Import Product] -> Select 'product-mincharters.xml' from your computer then press 'Import'

Yes, it works in 3.8.7.
And the option is in the "Message Posting and Editing" section, about halfway down.

I realize this is a slow reply, but it may help others.

Chrome browser is somehow ignoring this mod now.

You have to edit the template in order to work in Chrome too.

Replace the minimum_characters template with following

Basically it just removes the Chrome controls from template.
