I'd love to know how you even managed to find the host. WHOIS does not show .ro detail as far as I can tell.

Why would a hacking community use a legit copy of vBulletin when they have thousands of the latest nulled versions of vB. This doesnt make sense.

VB should change the password for that reg number so the legit owner is covered, then its VBs problem that a site is using the illegal software.
that will stop the illegal copy from downloading new copy's and mods and stuff If not then what good is haveing a registered copy! --------------- Added 18 Jan 2011 at 10:48 --------------- Webmaster: tech at powerhost dot ro Tue Jan 18 18:46:49 2011 Remote address: 24.119.67.124 Requested host: www.insecurity.ro looks like the site that's in question is down anyway, but still the owner should get a new password or something from VB since his is obviously compromised |

Wrong. Read the license agreement. It is up to the owner to not share their files in anyway. And, vB is not going to just change a password on an account when multiple sites show up using the files. The owner is the only one who can change the password.

If people actually read the agreements you must agree to in order to use a service or product, No one would actually use the internet, most just click here to agree.
That may not be the right thing to do, but I'm sure most people don't have lawyers on staff to peruse these agreements, that in most case's protect the seller, and not the end user, so if your going to use anything on the internet, you are going to agree to the online agreements provided by every single service on the internet. or you will not even sign into the internet. With all that said People in here give that information out on a regular bases, when haveing mods installed or even the forum software installed by people that are not the end user. This actually voids their contract, because they have violated the terms of the user agreement. So later when a pirate board pops up using their information are they to have their license revoked. If so then that practice should not be allowed and people should know that they could later lose their lic because of some thing they allowed because they just wanted their board up and running. and before anyone get's all defensive, I'm just saying people have got this guys info in some way. we may never know who or how but I think he has probably had someone that once had access to his lic info. So is it his fault ?, if so oh well but if not and somehow his information was hacked in email, that would be the issue, maybe that information shouldn't be sent over the internet, maybe it should be saved on a secure server and you would have to log into that location to retrieve the information that is normally sent by email to customers! after purchase. just a thought ![]() |
