don't know... not sure.. i played with the first RC of Coda ... long time ago.. was a crap in my hands, i hate playing with these eye-candy softwares... i'll take a look now that you talk about it, as i have a dev key for it!
You have a dev key to it? And how did you get an RC? And I feel it has improved greatly since 1.0!
bah, dev keys are available when you are long lasting tester for the guys, and when you are friendly.. -- this is just a serial that last longer, nothing fancy!
i also get RC from other softwares the same way... see, you are actually playing with vb 3.7 RC1 ... many can do that!
and i can tell after testing it, the new version is more flexible, but also a lot more eye-candy...

I meant from Panic because they don't usually release pre release software. I guess you have beta tested for them quite a few times? And it is way more flexible but more eye candy, I am not sure... They seem to have stayed pretty much the same since 1.0, but they have added quite a few features since the beginnig (and they meant to add things such as folding code cause cabel showed the mock up of it). I really respect the guys over at Panic.
Awesome video. I really like these kinds of talks. If Apple had a channel9-type website, I'd be there every day!
As for Coda: I don't think it's anything special. It looks nice, but functionally I still much prefer TextMate.
I find it "special" because it wraps everything together... If it was just a text editor, I am not sure if I would find it so special... Cause, well, it would just be another text editor.
But I still like how Cabel revealed that they had tried code folding, but scrapped it for v1.0!
