I am a power user of Coda. The only feature I really don't use is the terminal. :( But I love the app (and panic in general) so I read the developers blogs... :D (I'm a total geek, I know!). Going to Steven F's Blog this after noon, I found this little gem:

It is Cabel Sasser talking about the design aspect of Coda, how they debated over things, and really, what it took to build this application.

Hopefully that is a compliment. :) Cause my mind isn't working today. And I really really found this video interesting. And I would assume that all people on vB.org aren't major geeks like me to come across the video. So this might be much easier. :D

What is Coda?

Basically it is a program for hand coding sites. It incorporates the terminal (for mySQL queries), books (for reference), Transmit FTP (also by Panic; FTP obviously), CSS Editor, Safari (Previews), SubEthaEdit (collaborative Editing), and A sites pane for keeping track of stuff. All in one unified window. :)

But it is Mac-Only. :(

Looks neat, but I already have too many editors.

It actually knocked any editors I had out of the run for me...

But the design that went into it was actually a very very interesting story.
