to tell you the truth, the quad cores are better for business/etc. where there will be alot of multi-tasking. i would stick with a duo core for gaming. (this is my opinion, and by no means is it an expert one)
i run a intel e6750 oc'd to 3.2ghz and it screams. |

Newer games are taking use of multiple cores. Crysis (The new big game) uses all four cores. IT is recommended for it.

lol, i understand what you mean. But i can get the same (or darn close to it) performance from my dual core.
BUT if you dont like to upgrade every two years or so like i do, then the quad core will be your best bet. im not looking at the quads till they have the 1333mHz fsb. again, my opinion. i just offer people something else to think about. |
