Why'd you go with blackberry instead?

More cost effective as it was only $79.00 after my $200.00 upgrade credit with AT&T and the monthly internet fee is cheaper. The Blackberry has a wider range of software available to it as well and a real keyboard. Just seemed like the better deal. While it can playback MP3s and Videos, I don't really care about that and those seem to be the primary focus of the iPhone. I just feel the primary focus of a phone, should be communicating with others and the Blackberry does that better.

Ubuntu 7.10 with a virutual XP session
XP on secondary partiton for games
Gentoo on old PPC laptop for learning, probably going to dump it for another distro.

How do you like that distro? I've been wanting to give it a try but haven't found the time to download it yet.

I love it,I have been using PCLinux since version.092 and it suits my needs perfectly,it has everything I could ask for and I find it very stable and easy to use.
My 11 year old enjoys running it too though he is still on the BigDaddy .093 version.

I tested PCLinux a few weeks ago. They have done a great job with that Distro. The Live CD was very responsive, I think a bit more than Ubuntus LiveCD.

I will not be switching any time soon, but I may load it up on a laptop and see how it handles the hardware.

I really don't know why people think Vista is awesome. Mac OS X has already came out with all of Vista's features a long time ago. But I now run Leopard and it has way more things then Vista can even do. Vista is so far behind, Mac is the future. It's so weird

actually, Leopard is missing some gadgets Vista have...

at first, we do not have these eye-candy displays when we have the 3.0+ performance stats... i tested it on Vista.. the more your computer is performant, the more gadgets are used, making the performances of your computer completely useless
