How would I remove

And the 'thank you' info (that comes with the thank you hack) in the same area? Kinda makes for a wide post.

open up the postbit template find:

<if condition="$post['joindate']"><div>$vbphrase[join_date]: $post[joindate]</div></if>

delete then save template.
