wow...that was a huge bump...but i liked this thread...gave me a question...
with all the super coders around here...why hasn't a team been made to create a CMS specifically for vbulletin...for free or a payment option...i know i would pay for that...having tons of features (but making sure they are all optional)...would be awesome... i know if i was a good coder that would be the first thing i would start working on. |

i was asked by some friends to find out about a good CMS for their bussiness. containing the usual news....weather....currency modules...and a good AD system....plus an e-commerce plus an eshop
somthing to show their product and a user managment system were they are able to manage his payments .....multiple plus a discussion forum was looking for about a week....found nothing impressive.....either products to buy with very poor demo system that i dont know how it works... or open source that is soo difficult to manage.....if i find it difficult ..how about them? that is a real question here...if i look at what does it take to make a good CMS with the vbulletin ability and power.........i dont think its so difficult for all these great coders |

Really, if you are looking for a powerful CMS, Drupal is the way to go. Over the summer, IBM choose Drupal from all the open-source CMSs as the best suited CMS out there.
The vbDrupal product, creates commen sessions and login between Drupal and vb, and includes tie-in such as forum blocks, profile links, calendar blocks and the ability to display drupal elements around the vb forum. Also, the Drupal community is strong and going, with new modules coming in every week (over 300 total extra modules). Come support the vbdrupal.org project, instead of starting from scratch. |

I am now playing around with vBdrupal, have ordered 2 Drupal books from Amazon to speed up my learning curve so far it has been pretty easy to install .. I have had a few 'bugs' popup but I believe it is due to me and not the product Look forward to receiving the books and learning more |

Great. There are tremendous ecommerce, article posting and community building opportunities that Drupal can open upon for a forum site. vbDrupal opens up all those opportunities to vBulletin site owners.
