I'm going to sell memberships on my site that will provide write access in VB in addition to other benefits. I've thoroughly reviewed the Paid Subscriptions functionality and determined it to be too difficult for my site's target audience. I also have a PHP shopping cart in place anyway.
When someone purchases a membership through my PHP store, I want to automatically create a VB account and assign them a Paid Subscription. In my store, I'll verify their requested username is unique before allowing them to complete the transaction. Anyone done this? How difficult will it be? How many VB tables will need to be manipulated to pull this off? |
