It shouldn't happen usually. Most people use dynamic IP addresses provided by their host(s). If you ban an IP address that precise (instead of using a wildcard, for instance), chances are that all the user has to do is to /release and /renew his ipconfig in cmd.
I recommend trying to ban, for instance, 94.212.41.*. However, chances are that many more (innocent) IP addresses are banned as well. You can't -fully- protect your board from people joining, even those who're banned. Some are annoying enough to start using proxies, but I do believe there's a product (by Paul) on here to assist ion that matter. |
