[Req] Displaying attachment statistics on forumhome

Hey guys and gals,

I was over at vB.com and was told that what I was looking for was a code modification so here I am.

All I wish to do is display the number of attachments and the number of downloads for those attachments somewhere on my ForumHome - most likely where the other forum stats are now. For example I can log into my AdminCP to see that I have 176,270 attachments taking up 53.74 GB worth of space and that has been downloaded 92,644,559 times. How do I make that publicly viewable somewhere on the main part of the board?

I'm hoping this is an easy enough request that maybe someone here could whip up. I think it'd be useful for anyone who has a community with a good deal of attachments. Thank you for reading!

//edit -- Nevermind, the hack that appears in the Similar Threads is ancient and didn't work when I tried it on 3.8.0.
