You can have a look around the hacks and styles that we are offering for free here at vbulletin.org. Until your purchase you can however not download them. After your purchase you will also be able to post requests for (payed/free) custom work.

1. vBulletin has a template system that make it possible to design pages with just HTML. The site you are linking to seems to be using some kind of Portal software. There are a few different portal hacks for vBulletin around.

2. Not sure but i think there are some hacks here at vbulletin.org that will connect to external mail. Please have a look around.
