Nope i dont believe so. Basically there is a discussion on this forum regarding as KuraFire said security leaks etc. The guys here are hoping to change the way Hacks are released her at vB.org when vB3 is released for good and vB3 hacks are allowed. A team of Skilled (

No. vBulletin.org can't possibly monitor every hack (yet
 ) for vb2 and say whether they have security risks. There's no such security hack but we do have hacks which add security but in regards to having insecure hacks you install them at your own risk

Any hack, even, ironically, those intended to bring more security to your forums, can comprimise them. As only Jelsoft has the best understanding of their product and end users do not, an otherwise stable product is modified and possibly introduced with security holes.
If you seriously care about your forums' security, do not install third-party hacks. Usually paid hacks are better because they are done more thourougly and checked before release, as well as your own hacks because you know exactly what they do.

Good points Filburt1, Personally i have never heard of anyones board beeing hacked because of some security leek but maybe it does happen.
Personal question, Why the '1' at the end of your name Filburt?
