I've worked with vb for years and this is the first time that I've tried to create a usergroup and then assign members to that group and then they could not view the forum. I get a permissions error.
Code:
tester, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons: 1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system? 2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation. |

When you create new usergoups, do yo choose to use permissions based off another group? I find it easier that way.

Yeah I tried that it did not work, still no access. I thought about that myself. Normally I do not do it that way, but in this instance I tried what I could think of.

Yeah it works to create a usergroup but it does not work in this case to allow the usergroup to view the forum, there is some other problem that I cannot figure out.
