Flashchat Members not recognized
I'm running 2 flashchats on my site. One in the singles area (osdate) the other on the forums. The singles one is working great.
My problem, on the forum chat, anyone who is a registered user or admin can get into chat. Anyone who is a member of a custom group I've created (singles) it's not recognizing their username or password, says invalid. I thought at first it was because I had 2 different chats and they were interferring.. But I have someone on the forum who I've put into the custom user group, but isn't registered on the osdate area, so it's something in settings on vbulletin. Is there something I need to change on my custom user group that will allow chat to recognize and let them in? Thanks, Southern |

Did you download the flashchat integration hacks from vBulletin.org i beleive they are made by Paul M, Then follow the instructions to a T, and you may have to make some edits depending on usergroup numbers. Good luck. |

If you are using the Tufat supplied vbulletin CMS file (actually written by me) then you need to edit the top of it to add your custom usergroup to the definitions.

I finally figured it out. I put them them in the secondary group of registered user and it's letting them in fine now.
Thanks, Southern |
