The tabs? Easy.

You just make forums that don't appear on forumhome, then link to them in the skin.

Ok, so first you will make your main category in forum manager.... this will make it not viewable on forumhome...

Main Cat:

Act as Forum --> NO
Forum is Active --> NO
Forum is Open --> NO

Now your sub cats which will be viewable in Main Cat...

Cat:

Act as Forum --> NO
Forum is Active --> YES
Forum is Open --> NO

Then your forums...

Forum, also viewable:

Act as Forum --> YES
Forum is Active --> YES
Forum is Open --> YES

That should do it...

Try setting a Display Order of "0" for a forum and see what happens.

If a forum's display order is set to 0 it will not be included in the forum list on index.php.

Hint: Only use this trick with parent forums.
