The tabs? Easy.

You just make forums that don't appear on forumhome, then link to them in the skin.

I think he means the actual HTML behind displaying them. ;)

sorry, but please could someone explain this a little more to me please?

i mean how on earth can you hide a forum on forum home, and make it appear somewhere alse. this maybe the main thing i need to?

Ok, so first you will make your main category in forum manager.... this will make it not viewable on forumhome...

Main Cat:

Act as Forum --> NO
Forum is Active --> NO
Forum is Open --> NO

Now your sub cats which will be viewable in Main Cat...

Cat:

Act as Forum --> NO
Forum is Active --> YES
Forum is Open --> NO

Then your forums...

Forum, also viewable:

Act as Forum --> YES
Forum is Active --> YES
Forum is Open --> YES

That should do it...

Try setting a Display Order of "0" for a forum and see what happens. ;)

If a forum's display order is set to 0 it will not be included in the forum list on index.php. :)

Hint: Only use this trick with parent forums. ;)
