A little confused
Hey guys, great place. I plan on spending my weekend here reading!
I wonder if anyone could give me an assist on a problem I'm having with my board. I'm trying to put a menu down the left side of the board. I have been able to get it to work fine... except when someone goes INSIDE a thread. When inside a thread, instead of being on the left side of the page, the menu is on the top of the page. I can't figure out why this changes once you go inside a thread. Does anyone have any suggestions? Here's where you can find the board: http://www.filmhobbit.com/forum/ |

Well... you should put ur forum stuff in a whole new table...
so that it wont ruin it... like you have: </TD> <TD vAlign=top align=middle> <CENTER><BR> for the end of ur left menu.. after the center/br you should put <table> then in the footer put </table> at the very end uh, I'm not sure.. that was just a quick glance... |

Hey Nairb, I tried what you suggested, no effect at all.
I also tried the template available here on the site for doing this, but if I do that, I only seem to see the "menu" at the top forum leven, not when I go down into the individual forums. Why is this? |

No suggestions on how to make your template for menus work?

Playing with it further... maybe I'm misunderstanding the template? Is it intended ONLY to make a menu in the left column on the MAIN forum listing and none of the lower levels?
Please clarify. |
