A little confused
 

Hey guys, great place. I plan on spending my weekend here reading!

I wonder if anyone could give me an assist on a problem I'm having with my board.

I'm trying to put a menu down the left side of the board. I have been able to get it to work fine... except when someone goes INSIDE a thread. When inside a thread, instead of being on the left side of the page, the menu is on the top of the page. I can't figure out why this changes once you go inside a thread.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Well... you should put ur forum stuff in a whole new table...
so that it wont ruin it...
like you have:

</TD>
<TD vAlign=top align=middle>
<CENTER><BR>

for the end of ur left menu..

after the center/br
you should put <table>

then in the footer put </table> at the very end

uh, I'm not sure.. that was just a quick glance...

Hey Nairb, I tried what you suggested, no effect at all.

I also tried the template available here on the site for doing this, but if I do that, I only seem to see the "menu" at the top forum leven, not when I go down into the individual forums. Why is this?

No suggestions on how to make your template for menus work?

Playing with it further... maybe I'm misunderstanding the template? Is it intended ONLY to make a menu in the left column on the MAIN forum listing and none of the lower levels?

Please clarify.
