Unless you have something to hide, why do you need to be anonymous on a forum? I actually like seeing real names instead of usernames on my forum.

We also added a field on our forum so you can display your real name in addition to your user name. An admin can always change the Facebook real name to a user name if the user wants this.

I'm quite confused - maybe there was a mod I installed but in my forum, under Settings and Facebook options all you have to do is disable auto-register and that will take care of this.

Consider forums where people talk about their medical or psychological issues, addictions, relationships, financial topics, or anything else that people do not want to share with the rest of the world or their future employers.
