Anyone else been hacked?
My forums were hacked last night. Having to reload everything. Why do people do this? What gratification do they get from it?
I just needed to vent because I have 4 kids who keep me very busy and now I have to try to fix everything. If my hacker is reading this, I just want to say thanks a whole bunch. Anyone else been hacked? |

It might even be his server that got hacked, not his vB install.

1. Setup htaccess files on crucial folders and allow users by IP address only (Specifically admincp/modcp)
2. Rename admincp/modcp. 3. Disable HTML sitewide 4. If it happened to your host, switch hosts. 5. Few others I can't remember ATM. |

This happened to me twice in one week. I'm beginning to think it's GoDaddy's server that's the problem.
