THANKS LYNNE . its solved with your help last day i set the signature path in admin cp /Avatar / user picture storage and now user signature showed up in forum and also today v bulltien support team did the same thing which you allredy told me to do .

I use 3.8.4 and I have the exact same problem with signature pics not showing in posts. I just noticed this since I updated to patch level 2. I do not understand what fixed the problem for the above user.

I think he had the path wrong for where his sig pics were being saved.

I have not changed anything and my Signature Picture Path is set as ./signaturepics "/public_html/signaturepics". When I check in that file there is only a Firefox Doc titled index.html.
I see no evidences of any images being saved there.

Permission is set at 0755

This is a quote from the Admin CP regarding putting avatars/sigpics/etc into the filesystem:

If you are moving images into the file system, you will need to create a directory within your forums folder (/images/customavatars is a good one) for their storage. Unlike when you are storing attachments in the file system, this folder must be accessible from the web (usually CHMOD 777).

I have never had to do anything for 2 years to have pics show up as signatures on posts. I changed signaturepics to 0777 permission and still have the same problem. I am only trying to add or change a signature pic in user profile. It will show in profile but no where else on forum. As I said I think this just started when I upgraded to Patch 2.

Is it in the page source? Are you using a default style? Did you search the bug tracker to see if this is a known issue?



Create a new style with no parent:

• Styles & Templates > Style Manager > Add New Style
• Parent Style: No Parent Style
• Title: Default vBulletin
• Allow User Selection: Yes
• Save

Then browse the site using that totally default vbulletin style - do you still have the same problem?

If it is still happening - Try disabling your modifications/plugins and see if you still have this problem.
Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php
