Displaying subforums on the main forum page

Hello,

I recently upgraded to 4.x and decided to redo our guilds forums, however I have ran into a problem.

I am trying to create a forum category for each of the mmo's that our guild plays, with multiple sub categories in each, but i can't get them to display on the forum homepage.

Currently our homepage displays like this

General Guild Information (Category)
General Guild Topics (Forum)
Secured Guild Topics (Forum)

Star Wars "Old Republic" (Category)
Alliance Holonet (Category)

(If you click on Alliance Holonet it displays)
Alliance Comm-link (forum)
Alliance Operations (forum)

Is there a setting I can change to get the two topics under "Alliance Holonet" to display on the main page without having to click on "Alliance Holonet"?

I have played with the various depth settings and it doesn't seem to accomplish what i'm trying to do.
