Displaying subforums on the main forum page

Hello,

I recently upgraded to 4.x and decided to redo our guilds forums, however I have ran into a problem.

I am trying to create a forum category for each of the mmo's that our guild plays, with multiple sub categories in each, but i can't get them to display on the forum homepage.

Currently our homepage displays like this

General Guild Information (Category)
General Guild Topics (Forum)
Secured Guild Topics (Forum)

Star Wars "Old Republic" (Category)
Alliance Holonet (Category)

(If you click on Alliance Holonet it displays)
Alliance Comm-link (forum)
Alliance Operations (forum)

Is there a setting I can change to get the two topics under "Alliance Holonet" to display on the main page without having to click on "Alliance Holonet"?

I have played with the various depth settings and it doesn't seem to accomplish what i'm trying to do.

Thanks,

Have you been playing with the settings in AdminCP > Settings > Options > forum listings display options? depth of forums 2 or 3 and maybe set depth of sub-forums to something other than 0?

ok, making progress. I got it to display the sub-forums under the categories, but it is just the forum text and a small icon with a link to that forum. Is there a way to list them individually with a large icon (similar to the way a parent forum is displayed) and the descriptions for each forum?

Thanks for the help Lynne

If you want them listed individually with a large icon, you need to play with that first number, depth of forums, not the depth of sub-forums. You may also need to copy the forumhome_forumbit_level1_nopost and forumhome_forumbit_level1_post template to create forumhome_forumbit_level3_nopost and forumhome_forumbit_level3_post
