Cloned threads?
We have a forum where certain users generally stay in one section and post threads; however, some of the material that flows through a certain section would be good for another section and would cut down on redundancy of threads.
For instance: Werewolves start a thread in the sub forum “Werewolves” called “Can Werewolves co-exist with Vampires?” Well the Werewolves would greatly appreciate input from the Vampires, but they never come over to the Werewolves side of the forum. What happens is that the Vampires wonder the same question and post it in their sub-forum and we end up getting a redundancy of threads. I want to be able to leave a thread called “Can Werewolves co-exist with Vampires” on both sub-forums that can have both groups respond; therefore, it’s actually one thread and both types respond to it and see the posts from both side but in their own section. Got any ideas on how to do this? |
