Cloned threads?

We have a forum where certain users generally stay in one section and post threads; however, some of the material that flows through a certain section would be good for another section and would cut down on redundancy of threads.

For instance:

Werewolves start a thread in the sub forum “Werewolves” called “Can Werewolves co-exist with Vampires?” Well the Werewolves would greatly appreciate input from the Vampires, but they never come over to the Werewolves side of the forum. What happens is that the Vampires wonder the same question and post it in their sub-forum and we end up getting a redundancy of threads.

I want to be able to leave a thread called “Can Werewolves co-exist with Vampires” on both sub-forums that can have both groups respond; therefore, it’s actually one thread and both types respond to it and see the posts from both side but in their own section.

Got any ideas on how to do this?

Your asking the holy grail of vB mods... I've been looking for this ability for YEARS and make requests regularly.., a premium vBulletin Mod called vBadvanced Links Directory supports something like this but unfortunately it's only for threads (links) created in the mod itself and not for general threads...

I myself figured a mod so whole forums can be 'cloned' to other forums... I don't see this helping you much as you only want specific threads 'cloned' not entire forums- but maybe you could make a subforum of "Werewolves" called "Werewolves and Vampires" and a subforum of Vampires called "Vampires and Werewolves" and show the same threads in both.

Anyway it's just a suggestion... I really hope someone does make this mod one day but no one ever does. :(
