Domain Name Change, Cannot Update Some Images

http://www.mysite.com/upload/images/icons/icon1.gif

changed to

http://www.mynewsite.com/upload/images/icons/icon1.gif

but the link still directs to

http://www.mysite.com/upload/images/icons/icon1.gif

I tried to repair/optimize, etc...
how is this pointing to an OLD DOMAIN of a site currently owned by someone else? I do not have mysite.com listed "Anywhere" in my admincp
