Domain Name Change, Cannot Update Some Images
http://www.mysite.com/upload/images/icons/icon1.gif
changed to http://www.mynewsite.com/upload/images/icons/icon1.gif but the link still directs to http://www.mysite.com/upload/images/icons/icon1.gif I tried to repair/optimize, etc... how is this pointing to an OLD DOMAIN of a site currently owned by someone else? I do not have mysite.com listed "Anywhere" in my admincp |
Look in the StyleVars. They are located in the Style Manager, in the dropdown next to the style's name.
|
admincp --> Post Icons --> Post Icon Manager --> Edit your icons and make sure they are not hard coded to your old domain.
The paths should look as so, with no domain name: images/icons/icon1.gif Some custom styles need the domain part because of coding issues, if the image doesn't work afterward on the site, add the domain part back to the image path. |
