Prefixes

Im using this mod to enable users to filter out prefixes on my forums. I was wondering instead of using ?prefixid=2 or whatever could I use ?prefixid=text?

It would look much more appealing. I could do some mod_rewrite to make it look prettier but Im not sure if its possible.
