Prefixes
Im using this mod to enable users to filter out prefixes on my forums. I was wondering instead of using ?prefixid=2 or whatever could I use ?prefixid=text?
It would look much more appealing. I could do some mod_rewrite to make it look prettier but Im not sure if its possible. Thanks :) |
The prefixid is something you define when you create the prefix (Thread Prefixed > Thread Prefix Manager > Add Prefix > Prefix ID). If you want it called the same as the Prefix Title, then you may do that.

Yeah so is there an alternative to the variable prefixid to use in forumdisplay.php which is text rather than an ID?
|
Just change the ID to text?
|
Oh, I didn't know it worked like that.
And there is no option to edit prefix IDs in the prefix manager. Is there anyway to do it without editing the DB? |
Create a new prefix, change all the threads from the old prefix to the new one, then delete the old one.
