Description:
iTrader for vB 3.5.x & 3.6.x has evolved from Trader Ratings for vB 3.0.x which evolved from Buy/Sell/Trade User Rating System for vB 2.x. This is a rating system for when members buy / sell / trade items from each other (presumably on a FS section of your forum). It is somewhat based on the honor system since there is no automatic way to truly tell if they did engage in a transaction. iTrader came about because it was a pain to try and maintain a single thread listing good / bad traders and so far has worked out quite well.

Features:

• Rate another member: Positive / Negative / Neutral
• Specify in each transaction: Buyer, Seller, or Trade
• Leave multiple comments about the deal
• Dates & IPs are all recorded to prevent abuse
• Specify a thread URL to the deal
• Advanced URL checking
• Display ratings over time
• Filter based on Buyer/Seller/Trade/or feedback they left for others
• Users can edit/delete ratings left for others (time based limitation)
• iTrader Admins can edit/delete anyone's ratings (just incase)
• PM notification when new rating or comment is left
• Per-usergroup permissions
• Lots of admin controllable options

I'm having a problem when submitting URL's.
I use Zoints SEO and it re-writes the URL's to include keywords.
When I copy and paste the thread URL into the feedback box it just says invalid URL.

I'm guessing this is because of the Zoints SEO.
Is there any work around for this?

A member has reported that when she gets a new rating from someone that has already bought from her - even months earlier - its not showing - is that normal?

Corsacant - You will probably have to modify the fuction some that does the URL checking to re-parse the URL in the new format.

Jellybaby - That is what the ebay style choice is for. By default multiple ratings from the same user does not alter your feedback score. The score by default is determined by unique users.

As for the new version, it's coming along slowly. I got my dev box up and running, but then my video card in my notebook died, so I had to hastily buy another one off ebay and get that swapped out. I'm trying to get a more ebayish feel with the drop-down boxes for feedback and other options (instead of just those images which I think are confusing to most people). Once I get it to a stable state (it's still pretty rough), I'll probably run it on my own forum for a few days to make sure nobody has any issues or something doesn't make sense with the changes.

I'll be sure to post an update this coming Monday, hopefully by then I can give you an ETA with the new version.

Was a somewhat unproductive weekend, I broke a window by accident and spent all Saturday afternoon futzing with that (and managed to cut my hands up too pretty good, depsite wearing gloves). Sunday I wasn't feeling too well and managed to doze off for the whole afternoon too.

It's coming along, slowly.. But I want this next one to be a pretty decent upgrade and I want to do it right. I just realized today that I need to make code for if/when dhtml is disabled, which is going to be kind of screwy trying to fit all the links in a nice looking fashion.

I forgot to mention this earlier, but is there any requests that you guys might have? Now is the time to want a feature added in.

I'd like to be able to specify the usergroup for the negative feedback alerts. If this feature already exists I have never seen it.
