Moderation Auto-PM
Version 2.0.1
What is it?
Moderation Auto-PM will automaticly send a Private Message to the user whenever their thread, post or attachment is moderated using the Thread Tools or Inline Moderation Tools.
It has support for the following types of moderation:
Thread: Move
Thread: Delete
Thread: Undelete
Thread: Stick
Thread: Unstick
Thread: Open
Thread: Close
Thread: Approve
Thread: Unapprove
Thread: Title Edit
Post: Edit
Post: Move
Post: Delete
Post: Undelete
Post: Approve
Post: Unapprove
Attachment: Approve
Attachment: Unapprove
All options can be turned on/off in the AdminCP. Moderation Auto-PM will not show the user where their thread is being moved to/from if they do not have permission to view the forum. You can also set a "master" exclude list of forum IDs that will never be touched by Moderation Auto-PM.
What's new in Version 2.0.1?
Added support for opening and closing threads by double-clicking on the thread icon
Fixed a bug caused by a missing phrase
Credit for this release goes to ConqSoft, as he notice the missing phrase bug, and suggested the new Ajax open/close feature
What's new in Version 2.0?
Fully compatible with both vB 3.5.4 and vBulletin 3.6 Beta 2 or above!
Support for editing posts / titles using the ajax quick edit bits
Support for deleting posts via quick edit
Don't send a PM if you are moderating your own thread
Send a Delete PM instead of a Move PM if moved to a particular forum (ie, a recycle bin type forum)
Age Cutoff Point - if the item is over a certain age, a PM won't be sent
A couple of tiny bugfixes that no-one noticed
How do I install / configure it?
Please see the install.txt file contained within the zip.
How do I upgrade?
If you are upgrading from a previous version of this mod (any version), just upload the 3 PHP files, making sure to overwrite the old ones and re-import the Product XML, making sure you set "Allow Overwrite" to Yes.
If you are upgrading from PM on Thread Move, please uninstall that hack first, then install this one following the instructions in install.txt
Thanks go to redlabour for kindly providing a German translation for the phrases and to everyone who nominated this mod or voted for this mod in HotM June
Important: Unfortunately, my leased vBulletin licence has now expired, and I won't be renewing it until September which means I will be unable to reply to this thread, or update this mod until then. I'm hopeful that the great vBulletin.org community will step in to answer any questions in my absence though See you all in early September!

when the PM sent to user ,
Private Messages: Unread 0, Total 7.
Still Unread is zero .
the previus version was OK
I can confirm that this is happening on my system as well, running the latest version of the hack on vB 3.6 Release Candidate 1. I've just set up the test scenario and tested it myself:
BUG DETAILS:
1) Create a non-moderator / normal user account.
2) Sign in as this normal user, navigate to a forum that moderates posts/threads, and make a series of three or four posts in that thread.
3) Log out, and log back in, this time as a moderator.
4) Approve / delete the various posts.
5) Log out, log back in as the normal user. What you'll discover is that the standard vB pop-up dialogue box for a new PM appears (if you have it configured to do so), informing you that you have a new PM; and you'll notice that the 'unread' PM count in the userinfo area reads '1' -- even though, if you go to the PM interface, you'll see that you have quite a few from the Moderation-PM system. Read the first PM, and the count of unread PMs will drop to '0', even though you've remaining unread PMs in your box.
This mod is great, and my members gave it a warm reception. Some had been complaining that unknown moderators changed and deleted their posts, and they weren't told why or by whom - something this mod is perfect to remedy! Everyone is more happy now.
One great addition to this mod would be a moderation report generator. Who has moderated what thread, when and why. This could be accomplished by making a shared PM account for moderators - or even having a forum that contains threads of the different PMs that are sent out.
I installed this mod and it basically broke some moderation abilities (move/delete I tested, possibly more). When I try to moderate a thread it goes to the blank white screen?
I'm running vB3.5.4 and no previous mod. Any help appreciated
