Hi,
I tried vBulletin.com about this issue but got fobbed off and said it wasnt vbulletin related although I believe it has to be as it doesnt happen on any of my other vbulletin powered forums. When users upload attachments other users cannot see these images only the original uploader, when you look at the online.php it shows the user being treated as a guest and a stop sign showing even when the user is logged in. I've got around this problem by turning on guests to able download attachments option in the usergroup options, it works fine although Id prefer not to have this on permantly. I sent a support ticket to vbulletin but all i got back was the same automated response of reupload all vbulletin files and turn off any plugins, I have no plugins installed and have upgraded to 3.7.2 and ran teh suspect file check, still the same. hopefully someone can help out here. |

So, you have no plugins, all new fresh files, and when you run suspect file check you get no problems? No modifications at all (no vbseo, etc)? How about a link to the site with a test account?
Also, what do you have set under vboptions > Cookies ? Did you change any of those paths? |

No plugins, all fresh files, no suspect files, no mods, only slight template changes to the header, footer, navbar templates, no vbseo. Not touched the cookies settings. I'm abit wary of allowing people into the admin panel. I did create a test account for vbulletin support but they didnt even login with it to take a look ![]() |
